Hello I have an original two battery Apple Magic Keyboard/Wireless and I would like to know what steps I need to take yo reset it as if I had just bought it and needed to set it up for the first time. I've owned it a while now, originally set it up with a Mac G5 PPC/Bluetooth.
The keyboard and the included compact mouse can connect by Bluetooth or with the included USB nano receiver. Pop in the receiver and both the keyboard and mouse are instantly connected. If you have an Apple Magic Keyboard and Apple Magic Trackpad 2 (the ones with the Lightning port) you're in luck! Just plug the Lightning cables to these devices and connect them to your Mac. They will now work as wired devices, talking to your computer without going through Bluetooth.

I own a few Macs and although it does pair with them, I would like for it to be setup under my Intel Power Mac.
Thanks in advance!

At last, the answer to my question is YES. However, for the Magic Keyboard to work wired with the iPad, without bluetooth, an unpowered USB hub is required.
Here is the guide that convinced me to order an unpowered USB hub:

USB devices declare their power consumption in software, during USB enumeration (connection). Therefore, it’s easy to trick a phone or tablet by connecting the DAC to a small USB hub. With the right USB hub, your phone only reads the low power consumption of the USB hub, and not the larger power consumption of the DAC.
Please note that some USB hubs may not work. The unpowered USB hub I ordered is the 'Cute USB Mini 2-Port USB 2.0 Hub Splitter' from Amazon because it is really small:

I hope this information will help you.
